Magical Mardi Gras Fairy Folk

Mardi Gras FAiry Folk Art Dolls

Hi there! Magical Fairy Blessings to you! WE are the Magical Mardi Gras Fairy Folk.. we went to the Flower and Butterfly people for help in getting dressed up for Mardi Gras Celebreation.. we are colored with all the beauty of spring time.. renewal and growth.

The Butterfly People were so excited about our idea that they three of them chose to be our wings so we could fly throughout the magical forest and spread the joy of spring and celebration with all.

Our home is the magical STone and Crystal Forest.. hidden from the eyes of all who do not believe. For those who allow the inner child to come out to play, you will see us.

We sit on the crystals and stones and infuse their healing energy into the world by flittering our wings. The magic flys up high above the forest and fills the world with magic and celebration.

WE look forward to living in your home and bring our house, stones and crystals with us.

WE are clay and measure 3 1/2 inches.

I really enjoy creating these and sharing my visions with you.
I hope you'll take a look at these and others on my website.

Om Elf

I designed an original pattern for an Elf Challenge with other artisians. The dolls that came from that challenge brought me so much joy in the creation. I have made three now with the new pattern and offer two of the dolls for sale on my website.
The Om Elf chants balance and wholeness for the Earth Mother and All Relations. Will you join with her and help create a more peaceful world?

Each of these holds the world in her hands.. the power to create. We too hold this power.. what shall we do with it?

Traditional Red White Santa Claus Cloth Doll

Here comes Santa Claus

I just love this traditional red and white Elf. He's bringing a bag of goodies for all the boys and girls.. and some beads for the tree.

He wears his glasses just to make sure he gets everything right.

I used cloth over wire armature to create this jolly fellow. His is dress in furs and his face is painted with pastels.

He comes with a stand so you can show him off with style.

Original OOAK Art Doll is signed and dated.

His hair and beard are English Wool.. wonderful stuff.

He measures 15 inches.

Old world and new World Santa's meet

I have been having so much fun creating the new line of Santa dolls. I love working with different fabrics to create a different magic with each one.
I am so grateful that I get to play all year and call it work. I can't think of a better job than creating beauty to share with the world.
I am working on Support Our Troops Santas this week for those with loved ones in the military. Be sure to check back later for pics of those.

Here I share a few of the latest Santas with you.

If you are interested in your very own Santa for the holidays, check my website or email me. I love doing custom work.

Support our Troops American Santa Clause

Many families this holiday season, will celebrate without loved ones present. These loved ones will be away due to their stints overseas. While we may not all support the War, we can all show honor and respect for those who willingly go fight.
Original Americana Cloth Santa Claus Doll

Regardless of whether we are in support of the War in Iraq, we are all in support of the many men and women who are there on our behalf.

With this in mind, I created this original Cloth Santa.

He sports a suit with the Statue of Liberty.. precious to all Americans for what it stands for.. our Freedom and way of life.

He has English wool for a beard and hair, carries a bag of the flag, with a yellow ribbon.. till they come safely home..!

He brings toys and most importantly.. the prayers of so many children who wish for mothers and fathers home this holiday season.

Display this Santa during the holidays.. or year round to show your support for our troops and your hope of their safe return.

Santa is signed and dated, comes with stand and toys as shown. He meausres 16 inches. Face is painted with pastels.

Girl Elf and Bird Friend

Here is the companion of the Boy Elf. They were such wonderful company while I was in the garden. They spoke of all the magic they bring to us humans, and how sad it is that we don't take the time to see and hear the magic.

Elf and Bird

We all know that the Elf Folk are magical. Here one shows off for his picture to be taken while letting his Bird rest for a moment.
I was out in my garden late in the evening and this delightful fellow buzzed by with his female friend to say hello.

Holiday Magical Elf

I have created more magic. I sat down and drew an original design pattern and created this wonderful Magical Elf.
This pic shows him in my yard with a few of the Cat People checking him out. He was great fun to design and sew.
He will go to the Christmas Festival with me in December.
I have been busy getting more Santas ready along with a few fairy and angels.
Being able to express myself through my crafts brings me great joy and satisfaction.
